WELCOME TO THE 2018 - 2019 SCHOOL YEAR! All volunteers for PTA events must be members of the PTA. When signing up for events or programs, the PTA Chair will request your membership number/card. If you don't have one - you can always purchase a membership for $8 (good for the year).

Under our new state of GA charter, volunteer hours are no longer required. We encourage all families to get involved with their student's education, PTA sponsored programs and overall success of our school. #BuildingScholars

CARPOOL VOLUNTEERS
The IAS staff will need assistance on the first day of school to navigate traffic during drop off and pick-up. All parents who are interested, please email info@iasmyrna.org.

The IAS teachers are in need of committed, supportive and helpful parents to push communications, assist with tasks and volunteer in the classroom. ATTENTION: Bakers and Cooks!!!
Are you interested in earning volunteer hours from home? You can earn 1-2 hours for your participation. The Hospitality Committee is in need of your assistance with homemade desserts, appetizers or any culinary delights for the faculty and staff meetings held on every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month.
Volunteers are needed on the 1st Tuesday of each quarterly meeting from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm to set up the treats and goodies for the faculty/staff meeting.

Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities
Lunchroom Monitors
Volunteer as a lunchroom monitor by signing in at the front desk. Kindergarten - 5th grade lunch is from 10:25 am - 12:35 pm and middle grades lunch is from 12:35 pm - 1:05 pm.
Morning and Afternoon Carpool
To volunteer for morning carpool, sign in at the front desk by 7:00 am; for afternoon carpool, sign in at the front desk by 2:30 pm.
PTA Volunteer Committee
Participating on the committee is an excellent way to stay involved and is especially suited for busy parents, as the needs we support will vary during the school day and weekends. Please email your interest and volunteer questions - ptacopresident4ias@gmail.com
S.W.A.G. Day
Styling While Achieving Greatness is usually the last Friday of each month. Volunteers are needed to help collect and count S.W.A.G. Day proceeds.
Please plan to meet in the lobby by 7:15 AM to receive instructions from the SWAG Day Chair.
